NEW  NAVHDA Versatile Champion (VC) 2007: VC Osage Bria (Luchi) MH

Luchi (from our "B" litter) qualified for her NAVHDA Versatile Champion (VC) title in September 2007 in Mexico, Missouri with a score of 192 points. She is one of only five Spinoni to have achieved a VC title since 1982, and one of only eleven Spinoni to have ever achieved the Master Hunter title, along with her brother Brasch (from our "C" litter) and full littermate Elmo.

For those not familiar with it, the Invitational is the flagship test in the NAVHDA system, open to those who receive a Prize I Utility score in the prior calendar year. Luchi is handled by Ann Bagnell and owned by Ann Bagnell and Karen Beyer.

NEW  AKC Master Hunter (MH): Osage Birichino (Elmo) CD MH

Elmo achieved his AKC Master Hunter title in the fall of 2007, making him one of only eleven Spinoni to have achieved this honor.

Elmo also earched a NAVHDA Utility Prize II, 188 points, at the Mid Ohio test. He is owned and handled by Bill Revercomb.

Recipient of the SCOA KEMO CUP: VC CH Osage Caesar (Brasch) MH

Brasch's newest achievement is the 2007 award of the Spinone Club of America KEMO CUP for excellence in the field, reflecting his accomplishments in earning AKC Master Hunter (MH) and NAVHDA Versatile Champion (VC) titles in 2006. He is one of only five Spinoni to have received a VC title, doing so with a maximum score of 200 points. He is one of ten Spinoni to have achieved the Master Hunter title.

At 2.7 years, Brasch was the youngest Spinone to have earned Versatile Champion (VC) and AKC Master Hunter (MH) titles. Brasch was also the 2006 recipient of the Spinone Club of America (SCOA) Rufus Cup award for "exceptional performance in the field and conformation ring." Brasch is handled by Karen Beyer and owned by Karen Beyer and Ann Bagnell.

NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize One: Osage Duxun Limited (Teal)

Our newest puppy from our "D" litter, Teal, passed his NAVHDA NA test with a Prize One and 110 points (out of a possible 112). He will soon be working along with his brother Basil (our "B" littler) on training for the NAVHDA Utility test and AKC Senior Hunter.

Teal was handled by Jeff Rhodes and is owned by Jeff and Sue Rhodes. Sue works with Teal on obedience training.

AKC titles: Osage Benelli Over Under JH CD RA

We are pleased to announce that in back-to-back competitions Benelli earned her Companion Dog title (in the "B" class, no less) as well as Rally Advanced. Benelli is owned by Jeff and Sue Rhodes and handled by Sue Rhodes.
